Bible verses for men
The Bible does not describe the ideal man as the strongest in the room. Micah sums up what God asks: to do justice, to love mercy and to walk humbly. Paul asks Timothy to flee greed and pursue righteousness, faith, love and gentleness; of husbands, he asks a love that gives itself away. Proverbs praises the man of integrity whose children are blessed after him, and Psalm 1 draws the man who meditates on the law of the Lord and bears fruit in season. The verses on this page are for Father's Day, for a brother's or friend's birthday, for the church men's group and for anyone who feels the weight of providing, protecting and still being kind. Read them as an invitation, not a demand.
