Bible verses about healing
The Bible speaks of healing in more than one sense: of the body, of the broken heart, and the restoration of everything that has been wounded. The psalms ask for healing without embarrassment — "heal me, Lord, and I will be healed" — and the Gospels show Jesus touching the sick whom everyone avoided. At the same time the Bible is honest: Paul asked three times for a thorn to be removed and received, instead, sufficient grace. That is why these verses are for praying with hope and with surrender, not for demanding. Use them at a bedside, before an appointment or during your own recovery, and keep following the treatment your health professionals prescribe: prayer and medicine do not compete.

2 Corinthians 12:9 shows Paul receiving grace instead of the healing he asked for. Faith remains valid in pain; God stays present even when the answer differs from what we hoped.
